"We are still in awe of our excellent holiday - what a gem we found.
Thank goodness for modern technology, our video camera of the spectacular
view is like a tonic to us. Thank you for sharing your lovely home we
will be back. Have found a book on Flaxley Abbey, never realised there
was so much history in your area. Thank you Brian and Ann for getting
us hooked."

"Dear
Brian & Ann
Thank you for a lovely New Year weekend.
The friendship & welcome we get is always something to look forward
to, quite apart from the good food, "wow".
I'm never quite sure which room is best, everyone has magnificent views.
Look forward to coming again in the summer.
Yours truly...Pat

"Dear Ann & Brian
When we arrived in Littledeane to see where Grampa came from in the 1870's,
we asked a customer at the store if she knew of a good B&B locally.
She not only did, but she sent her husband to get their car to lead us
to it. That was a good introduction.
They led us to Whitehouse World, & the two days we planned to stay
ran into a week. The pure air, the comfortable room, the great food, the
wonderful view and the welcome made us stay. Thank you again. You can
be sure that any future trips to Britain will include a visit to Popes'
Hill and a reunion with you.
Sincerely "

"Finding a good Bed and Breakfast place can be pot luck. In 1982
we found the White House, Popes' Hill in the Forest of Dean. Our pot luck
proved to be our own good luck. One cold wet evening, we knocked on a
stranger's door, the warmth of the greeting remains uppermost in my mind.
The next morning we left not as strangers, but as friends. That friendship
has lasted 20 years. Any visitor to the White House can be assured of
the same warm greeting, by the same owners in a magnificent setting on
the top of Popes' Hill
It is easy to prove my opinion by visiting yourself."

Dear Brian and Ann
Just a quick note to say thanks very much for your hospitality last weekend,
we had a very pleasant stay and both the accommodation and food were excellent.
We had no problems on the way home other than the weather worsened the
further east we went and we were dampened slightly a couple of times...
No doubt you have hundreds of photos of the views from your house but
here is one of the beautiful rainbow that was there when we arrived, also
a pic of both of us in your garden in case you are struggling to put faces
to names! Thanks again and good luck with the rest of the season.
Regards
Martin and Sandy Luckhurst
